no chance on a t9 box being strong enough or any box that could take the power fitting in a standard tunnel. you ned to go bigger on the tunnel....
i put the t9 box in to see how close it was and it would go in if the top of the tunnel was cut and moved back for the gear stick has anyone used a standerd tunnel with a cossy?
Theres no point putting a type 9 box onto a cosworth engine it will blow up on the first launch
If your fitting a cosworth engine you need the t5 cosworth gearbox to go with it,and you will need a bigger tunnel, a auto tunnel will work or just buy a large tunnel
t5 fits in an auto tunnel with slight mods to the front either side allows access to clutch cable etc,may have to trim where gearlever comes throu as well.
i think im gonna have to put a bigger tunnel then but could i use a t9 box for now surely it woudnt break it straight away? but in the mean time i will look for a t5 box
