POWER,

Had the xr2tt on Surrey RR on 3/6/06
Big thanks goes to Charlie @ Surrey RR, Top bloke and service

- Was running stg3 head, cvh 36 cam, and T25 turbo.

With safe ign (no det), and fuel setting (not perfect)

12psi- 179 Bhp/fly, 170 lbft/fly, 148 Bhp/wheel, 140 lbft/wheel
15psi- 186 Bhp/fly, 184 lbft/fly, 155 Bhp/wheel, 156 lbft/wheel
18psi- 191 Bhp/fly, 194 lbft/fly, 159 Bhp/wheel, 161 lbft/wheel
21psi- 198 Bhp/fly, 199 lbft/fly, 166 Bhp/wheel, 167 lbft/wheel

The Most it made was @ 21 psi, but ignition was advanced 4 degrees more than what i can run on the road with out det,

21psi- 203 Bhp/fly, 204 lbft/fly, 169 Bhp/wheel, 170 lbft/wheel

They were all recorded , in 28+oC ambients, and the car run 14 runs in total in 15-20 mins with out proper cool down stops, But ACT's, coolant and oil temps all stayed @ fine temps.

Thats compared to what it got on PTS RR in 4/2004,
on same bottom end, but different head, cam, downpipe, inter, But was on 9.3:1 c/r.

@ 13psi = 199bhp/fly, 174bhp/wheels ,228lb/ft
@ 10psi = 182bhp/fly, 152bhp/wheels, 199lb/ft

Wieght

as on road 1035kg (inc me at 85kg) with tools, spare and stuff.
as wen i got 13.8 1/4 = 985kg with me.

Performance

Avon raceway 10-06, 9x 13's, best at 13.6 @100mph, on road tyres and about 180bhp.
4 x 13.8's @ 102-104 mph at pod 8/04 with 27-29 0C ambients
Top speed on gps is 140mph at 6.6k in 5th. in under a mile.on old engine spec
6/06 @ Brunters for PF thrash, on new spec engine, did 133mph @ 6300rpm, but wouldn't rev any more, on 12psi and in under a mile from stand still. i also done 14.9@99mph in the wet, and 0-60 in 6.2.

Future plans/ specs

New bonnet with pulser side vents. got both, just need sorting
Aimin for 240bhp, low 13's @ 110 mph.
add more rear camber.
A new 2.5' zorst,

Heres a few more pics of my xr2tt taken 4/06. and 6/06

And some Engine bay pics, 19-03-07

31.8.13.

Sorry for no updates, as not really had any on my Cars.
I still have the Fiecos, but not rolled a wheel since 2006, but one day. .
The xr2tt was sold off in parts 3 years ago, as in 2008 - present I retook up riding and racing motor bikes. So proper been off the car scene since 2009 ish.

Things went a bit soar on 19.9.12, where after a road accident on my bike, I ended up on a life support machine, and with other injuries, my right leg was amputated above the knee, and my right arm/hand was paralyzed due to nerve damage.
Anyhow, after a wee spell in the NHS care, I'm getting back to life, running on my new robo leg, and been back riding after i adoated my 2007 Yamaha R1 race bike to all left hand controls, and been back on track since April this year, as well as racing again after having to prove I was able to ride at page to get my Race License back. My return race meeting in May i managed 2x 3rds and 2x 4th's. I'm just trying to bounce back as fast and hard as possible.

im loving the cossie, i got a psg kit lying around and i came on here to look into rwd or 4x4 ing a fiesta. im not loaded so im thinking xr4x4 gear or if i could find it rs2000 4x4 (not likely) although i hear its the same as mondy. for now or escort mk2 rear diff, i like the idea of filling the arches on the kit and making a track day car.

hi,

djm are a firm who do rally cross and rally cars prep, shell conversions,
i think it costs about 3-4 k, only by memory.

well its got the spec to be low to sub 11 sec car at the pod. Thats wot im aimin for.

fitted the cossie engine back in the fiecos today, after a full rebuild.

started fine, and done 5 miles , all seems fine.

now need to get a mot and tax,
then run the engine in ,
fit another fuel pump,
one of dingy's new looms to go in,
and fit my new atb rear diff.

THEN will be remapped for final time.

and off to the pod i go :content
