Default 1.25 full throttle problem

i have a weird problem with my 1.25 fiesta that i hope somebody could help me with

i have an ODB scanner so can see that the TPS is reading, but it is 16% at idle and 95% at WOT. in between it's smooth with no dropout. these percentages don't seem right, but the voltage measured across it is correct according to autodata.

when driving, if you put the throttle pedal down too far it really holds back. at the same time, the reading from the lambda sensor goes to 0V (normally fluctuates between rich/lean when cruising in closed loop mode).

i've checked the throttle cable and the throttle plate does what it should. there are no restrictions in the intake system, so i'm thinking it must be electrical.

also, there's no reading from the MAF sensor on the scanner, even though the voltage from it is correct according to autodata is that normal?

seems to be the MAF sensor as i disconnected it and it drove much better. have removed it and cleaned it with alcohol and connected it again and it pulls properly to the redline now. will replace with a new one to be sure.

still don't understand why the MAF reading does not show on the ODB scanner though
