As everyone seems to think of a hangover as being a headache...

I wish it bloody was! I always have mega stomach pains (i.e. feel sick) for a day or two after a proper pissup!

I still feel pretty sick now from last night, but the rest of me is always fine (apart from when you wake up with the vodka shakes every now and then )

So who gets what on a hangover, and does anyone know how to stop feeling sick in the morning?!!

I've tried a pint of milk 2 hours or so before going out, seems to work OKish but I always forget and once tried it after about 3 pints thinking it might still work - bad idea

I've tried drinking a pint or two of water before going to bed and this doesn't work - should stop headaches though!

Dont really suffer from them anymore, 2 pints of water and something to eat before bed, & i usually feel alright as long as ive avoided the stella...

 

Anything less than 50% memory loss of the night out is a failure!

I love it when you just remember a short flash every hour or so: Dance (completely bladdered by now then).. blank.. bird (just remember being with a bird and maybe hair colour but nothing else).. blank.. half empty club acting like a twat with your mates (must be nearly the end of the night then!) then the next thing you remember you're leaning through a taxi window

That's a usual night out, and then you wonder where all the RDI's (random drinking injuries) came from the next day to try and piece the evening together!

Water definitely doesn't seem to work with me, but then I don't always get a kebab, maybe I should try my best to get food, but then again thats not always possible if you are totally wasted!

 

Dont really get a headache, well do, but dont care, jus feel a bit sick for anything upto 2 days.

If feel proper sick then i just make myself sick n im sound.

But generally it just a horrible sicky feeling like when u really hungry, but food dont make it go away.

Sleep seems to sort it for some reason

 

My body just feels fooked!

Though since xmas eve i think i have done some serious damage to my kidneys as they are still killing

 

kidneys hurt?

never fookin had that, and im a grade-a binge drinker

usually ache like fuck, but thats just the night out in general rather thanthe drink i think

 

dont really suffer, jus lucky i spose!!!
if i do, then it will be the day after the morning after, and ill just be fuckin tired...but not had that for a long time

 

Still need some ideas to cure the sickness! Sleep isn't always an option unfortunately

 

my hangover is having about 2 hours sleep in 48 hours cos i've been speeding my t1ts off since xmas eve. also my legs are sore as fck cos i was shagging my gf for about 4 hours straight last night, usually i only last 2 mins lol!!!! i could sleep now i think but my m8s txtd me to go out plus there's a bint i can meet who aint half bad so time to drop another bomb yeehaa lmao!!!

 

if you know a nurse try and get some metrocloprmide - anti sickness pill. they give it to people in hospital who are spewing their guts up. works a treat and removes the head spinning to.

sometimes i feel all edgey and nervous for no reason, mega stressed till around lunch time. wake up really early and can't sleep, can't stay still.

and i don't smoke or take anything - just booze. WTF that all about?

 

My hangover is painless, as i havent even had one drink yet over the hoilday

My hangover is grim. My whole body hurts and shakes and i feel sick and weak and just really really ill, normally lasts about 2 days, but gets abit better as the day goes on. That is if i have a large one. Normally if i just have like 6-7 drinks i am fine next day

 

if i go out on the piss ill stay in bed till about 4pm, have me dinner and go back to bed, i feel fin e the next morning


remember when i got me stomach pumped for the first time , when i left the hospital they gave me 2 tablets to take as soon as i wake up, like a silly twat i take em and i spent the next day huggin the toilet bowl with my tryiong to be sick with fook all to be sock with, was like i was gonna throw up me intestines


never drank a drop of beer for 8 months after that ( though i was 15 )


the otehr worst hangover i had was wierd too, had a bad trip and lots of beers, never felt right for 3 days, felt wired and could feel the wind on me arms alkot more and other wierd stuff like that



now i hjust get bad hangovers that my missus leaves me alone as i always think im comming down with a virus of somekind


always goes the day after though

example if i go out on the piss with the lads on saturday ill tkae monday off otherwise i miss the weekend

I had that once at uni (I hadn't had my stomach pumped though, had just puked everything up before I went to bed so there was notihng left in the morning!)

Anyway it was one of, if not the, most painfull things i've ever experienced!
