I own a 1998 Ducati 916SPS homogolation race bike which has the Weber P8 ECU. I heard these are also the same ECUs used in Cosworth cars. I have an extra new ECU which I am going to sell that came with my bike. Is this something worth listing on a Ford forum or is the P8 used in the car different and would not work and I can only sell to another Ducati rider.

Without seeing inside the ecu versus the car version then i would say it wont work. there are lots of version of weber P8 that wont interchange.

 

they are also used on lancia and fiat cars too as well as the ferrari f40 to mention a few. They are all different to each other and not many will interchange.
