Default bit of white smoke

well i finished my estate last weekend, been using her all week covered about 500miles, its mfi and i'm getting a little white smoke out of exhaust when you let off and throttle up again, now i instantly thought turbo but it only does it when your driving below 3000rpm and turbo not boosting, when you use the boost it doesnt smoke at all, any ideas???

White smoke is water! Have you checked the water level? What headgasket is it?

i fear head gasket as there is a small patch of oil jus below the head near the cambelt on the front of the block, she doesnt overheat and heaters stay red hot, so could be early stages yet, i only ever use vpower fuel and its defo thick white smoke, defo not condensation

oil could be from rocker cover gasket, they all go eventually.
take it for a spin, will take a few hours of idle or a good run to clear condensation/water build up in the exhaust system.

i know its an old post but i have the exact same symptoms. since using a sensible oil 10w40 from 5w30 its calmed down hell of a lot in just 10 miles. what was the problem, did you get to the bottom of it?
