XR3i ECU upgrade, any ideas???

Just seen an 1992 xr3i 130 bhp ECU for sale on line. Does any one know if this is a simple job to change? i have a 1990 105/108bhp xr3i ECU. Just wondered if its worth doing and will the extra 25bhp make much difference?

I'm sure that the cams and throttle bodies are different on the 130 model to which is how they get the extra 25bhp not jst changing the ecu
