Default restricted transit van

This may look weird but the restrictor on my new works transit is getting on my F$^&"£g nerves .does any1 know how to get rid of it........it may seem strange but its lethal on motorways when going down sliproads to join the motorway ond it takes for ever to overtake if the vechicle im trying to overtake is doing a similar speed. Most nationwide companys have them fitted nowerdays im just wondering if its a factory fitted is there a way round this?

How do officer haha yeah fair point its there for a reason thats true...... but on my sat nav its saying 68mph and unfortunatly for me the traveling i do its frustrating........im not a prolific speeder even 77mph would make a difference on a long journey.+its a british gas van so i aint gonna go mental and speed everywere it would jus get people phoning in and complaining.........

No they won't. I had an 07 transit with a 70 restriction on it from the factory. I took it to my local dealer who put it on the diagnostic, and he said it's not even listed on the screen.
Of course it's there for a reason, but people don't half fook about at 70 mph. As soon as you pull into lane 3 to pass the middle lane hoggers who do 65 mph, they usually put their foot down and leave you stranded. I left the company soon after.
