Hi Chaps, Took the engine out of a mates series 2 ( Cliff S1's old engine ) to do a few bits to such as rear main, sump gasket and sort some other jobs out that were never done great when originally built
Anyway, when askng about, he's been told to use a few different grades such as 5w10 and 10w40, it's a silver top if it makes any difference, what do you lot use or recommend?
Also, why we are at it, what gearbox oil is good? ib5 bara box!

hi mate just use 5w/30 fully synthetic,for the box 75w/90
thats what i use in the focus

Silkolene best oil, but I used Castrol Magnatec in my RS and previous Focus Turbo, no issues here and kept the top end quite silent.
