Default Effin Annoyed!!!

Hello peeps... not been on here for a long time as a Poster but I often still read posts.

Anyway, I just felt that I need to vent my annoyance/anger.

Yesterday I was involved in organising a Charity car show in aid of "When you wish upon a star" the aim of the charity is to send Terminally ill Kids on trips of a life time.
It wasn't a massive show, but never the less we had quite a few nice cars there with many people giving more than the £2.50 entry, mid afternoon 2 very nice Focus's turned up, one an ST and one a new RS, both lovely looking cars, the owners of these cars pulled up, looked around the other cars and then stood chatting... Nothing wrong with this. Until the person collecting the money for the show asked for the entry fee, the owner of the RS then pulled out a bundle of notes and said he had no change, not a problem, the guy went to get some, wen't back, and as he got back the owners of the 2 cars prompltly got in and drove off.

This in my eyes was bad enough, but what really got too me was after they drove off, we found out the guy with the RS had recently won the Lottery. £2.5 mil !!! Now i'm sorry. But what sort of classless creep attends a charity car show only to refuse to pay the meesley £2.50.

The guy has a Green RS Focus and apperently comes from Hull... If anyone reading this knows him, PLEASE relay a message for me.

"You mate are a fukkin classless prick, I hope your Car Blows up!!" I Honestly can't put in word's how much I despise people like you.

What a joke, even if he didnt win the lotto he can still spare 2.50 if he owns a focus rs.

It was a car show basically, so even if you didnt support the charity surely its still worth paying 2.50 to take part in the show?

I don't see what was so out of order? They turned up at a car show, had a quick chat then left. There could be any number of reasons they left, and if the guy was loaded it seems very likely that it wasn't because of the £2.50. I think the OP needs to chill out.

+1, hell if you had won the lotto what £10/20 to a charity, the feel good factor of giving to under privalidged kids is one reson to give to a charity.

Slightly missing the point... It was a Charity car Show... in aid of Charity?? The whole fukkin point of the car show... I dont have a problem with people NOT wanting to give to charity, that is everyones choice, my point is they set out to go there, and then when they where asked to pay, they left rather than pay the meesley £2.50.

i very much doubt he left the show because he didn't want to pay the entry fee.

Fuzzy - The point of the post wast vent my annoyance...

As I said I dont have a problem with people NOT wanting to give too charity, but to travel to a show, that is purely in aid of a charity? and such a well worth charity as well, Having recently winning a rather lot of money... And then leaving rather than pay. Sorry that in my opinion is on the verge of being Sick.

thats what you say mate but did you actaully get a chance to ask them why they left or did not pay? NO, so you can't really say they left becuase you asked them to pay? especially when you say they had a few notes on him, then why did you not simply ask for the note and then go and get them change?

Read my first post again mate...

Until the person collecting the money for the show asked for the entry fee, the owner of the RS then pulled out a bundle of notes and said he had no change, not a problem, the guy went to get some, wen't back, and as he got back the owners of the 2 cars prompltly got in and drove off.

did he travel specifically for the show or was he just passing by?
if he'd travelled specifically it does seem odd to leave for the sake of £2.50 but either or its his choice and he made it.

Only he will ever know... But he comes from a town a good 40 miles away, and was known to other people who had come specifically for the show.

Indeed his choice.

True.

A nice Audi RS4 or the likes.

What the OP is getting at his the fella was minted, was asked for £2.50. He had no change, instead of boxing a £10/20 note for charity (Suppose thi would be a DONATION) he decided to fuck off.

I can see both sides of the net here, but travelling 40 miles for then to turn round is abit shit.

If he's travelled 40 miles it seems he was there to try and show off, he would have looked a lot more impressive if he'd said, as it's for charity here's £50 or something.
That way people would remember him, but for a nicer reason.
Personally I hope someone in his vicinity remembers this when they see his car, and happen to have a can of paint stripper in their hand.
It's one thing not being into charity, not everyone is, although most people will TAKE as much of it as they can, but taking the piss is different, I hope he doesn't have kids, although he is one, any female that loves him would need to seriously deranged.
People give me odd looks when I put £20 notes in the Gurkhas, or other forces collection pot, get slagged off rotten for that.

i was the guy collecting the cash on the day.
the guy in the focus rs actually complained about the £2.50 that he was asked to pay. so i explained it was for charity and he asked his mate in the focus st if they were going to stay or go. i went to get some change, bearing in mind he pulled a rolled up stack of 20's out of his pocket. about 10 mins later when i was walking back towards their cars for them to pay they drove away.
but then there was a guy who rolled up by chance as he was just driving by. he was in a land rover 90, he put £10 in the pot looked around for 30 mins then left and thanked me as he went.

Dont matter if his was a multi billionaire, or rolled up in his £500 banger, he still came in and had a nose around and should have paid the ENTRANCE FEE not the I WILL ASSESS THE VENUE AND SEE IF IT IS VALUE FOR MY £2.50 FEE

I'll be honest mate... I'd have accepted that if it had simply been a small show, i'll be the first to admit the turnout was a little on the low side due to the weather being sh!te for the first time in probably a month. But it's sole aim was to raise money for charity. I'm 99% sure they knew, as they had come off the back of other people telling them about the show, and it was made VERY clear it was a charity event.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and as I've said I don't have issues with people not wanting to give too charity... But to turn up, and then actualy complain about the entrance fee, be told what it's for and then leave... That just Pure Class
