If he's travelled 40 miles it seems he was there to try and show off, he would have looked a lot more impressive if he'd said, as it's for charity here's £50 or something.
That way people would remember him, but for a nicer reason.
Personally I hope someone in his vicinity remembers this when they see his car, and happen to have a can of paint stripper in their hand.
It's one thing not being into charity, not everyone is, although most people will TAKE as much of it as they can, but taking the piss is different, I hope he doesn't have kids, although he is one, any female that loves him would need to seriously deranged.
People give me odd looks when I put £20 notes in the Gurkhas, or other forces collection pot, get slagged off rotten for that.
