Afternoon all,
Dont suppose any of you have had the same issues i'm having at the mo.
Fault= No Dash Lights, No Drivers side rear lights, No number plate lights, No side lights. Keeps blowing the second 10amp fuse in, in the centre column of fuses. Altho main Driving Lights, Passenger Rear, Brake Lights and indicators all work fine?????
Thought i had resolved this problem and everything worked fine for about two weeks but attempted to drive home in the dark last sunday from me parents place and didnt have any of the above.
Going to pull it all apart tonight to find out wots going on, but some advise would be greatly received. Also have new stalks to try as well.
WELL PULLED IT APART / TRIED NEW STLAKS STILL BLOWING THE FUSES. CHECKED THE CONNECTIONS....
Getting really pee'd off as want to bring the car to the Essex meet on Weds nite ..

You must have a short circuit somewhere. Doubt its anything to do with the stalk as the other side would blow too.
I've seen this before when someone put a screw through a cable, and also where the number plate light wire chafed as it was coming out of the back panel.
I'd dismantle the rear light unit and check the wiring, - also check the number plate light.
Something behind the dash could also be responsible - as the dash lighting circuit is also run of the same fuse. Have you fitted a new head unit or anything like that recently? You could also check the lighting cable for the cigarette lighter and the drivers side front side light.
