hi all
this might be a silly question but ive got a s2 and when i used to i pull the oil cap off it would cut and now when i do it stays running is this summit to be worried about as ive think i have read it should cut out ?

yep, MFI runs under vacumn. If you take the dipstick out, it should die within a few seconds, with the oil cap off, instantly. first thing to check is for blocked breathers, other than that it could be the rings.

 

hi thank s for the reply i started to go throught breather pipes today and i put my dump valve back on and as soon as i pulled oil cap off and it cut out should it cut out even with the dump valve off .
