Default water leak from radiator

Hello guys,

I have a water leak in my car that only comes up when the car is hot and it's really difficult to find. So i borrowed a pump to put pressure on the water system. When i put it on 1 bar what the guys advised me my radiator is leaking quite some water. it's already starts by 0,5 bar. When i look the water comes from between the core of the radiator and the plastic sides not from the hoses, but it's on both sides so am i doing something wrong or is my radiator fooked? Is this a common problem?

Do ford sell rs turbo radiators? The told my they don't but the dealers sometimes just make mistakes with things like this. can i use a other radiator? I'm running a GRS intercooler

airtec do an allot rad for £195 which will do you fine. It's common for the plastic casings of the std item to come away and leak.

i would put an uprated alloy one one, less likely to happen again, and at like £180 or whatever they are nowadays probably cheaper than the ford one.

sounds like your end tanks are knackered mate- are you sure its coming from between the core and the end tanks?
you sure the end tanks havn't got small splits that open up under pressure?
this is wot happened to me recently so i Had to get a new end tank.
If the tanks and core are ok i don't see why the tanks could not be re-clinched in a jig to tighten it up?

as above
alloy rads are over rated anyway,a std good condition ford rad is miles better than an alloy one
take it off and get it to a radiator place and theyll advise you from there
