Hi guys, hope someone can help.

Ive just converted my Bonus to Turbo running gear and everything is standard RS Turbo including the breather system.

Now, i have managed to get the car started but it cuts out after a few seconds unless i keep the revs high. So instantly thought the usual, "Ahhhhh its got an air leak" So checked all the boost pipes, all the breather pipes, dipstick tube at both ends,oil cap, fuel mixture hole on metering head etc but its still cuts out

I disconnected the pipe which goes to the metering head on the breather system and bunged both up but its still cuts out!!!

Am i right in thinking that becuase it hasnt been set up yet(it aint on the road yet, i need to get it running so that i can take it to be....) the mixture could be wrong causing it to do this?

Any help appreciated guys becuase the cars finished apart from this and i want to get driving it!

 

Is the yellow plug connected under the back of the inlet manifold? Below the brown plug you can see below the cold start valve? As this can cause this problem.

 

Gary thanks for your input, hopefully its all sorted now. Went out and turned the mixture screw a couple of turns and shes fine now, no problems with her (Touch wood)
