gotta love night shifts eh mate! get yourself a book to read, time passes so much quicker than watching films.

i recently had to do 20 consecutive night shifts, with the weekends covering 14 hours instead of the usual 12. fucking boring, as literally NOTHING happened. i got paid for three weeks for sitting and reading. i did no work at all

Not a lot.
Bought a dog crate off ebay, had nutella on toast for lunch, read a bit of a magazine.
Generally trying to keep an eye on the new pup, coax my dog into actually liking her and occupy my bored as hell self!
Oh, and waiting for a phonecall for an interview.

mmm chips and beans!! With ketchup!

Just finished fitting my ACT gauge in the cossie, and modifying the Antilag Control system to turn off upon immediate throttle opening to give better driveability when using the system when full throttle isn't available - All perfect and the modified ALS works better than expected

Then later tonight I have to take my dog to the vets for his final sleep Arthuritis has done major damage in his back and back legs but he has been gradually getting worse with occasional falling over, last night he fell for a final time and couldn't get back up or move. Not fair on him to let him suffer (he doesn't show it in his reactions, but his eyes tell a story of pain when he looks at you) so it's for the best really. Absolutely gutted is an understatement but we knew it was coming, just a hard pill to swallow

our dogs on her last legs too, shes about 15 or 16 now, struggles to get up, hobbles about until shes loosened up, often falling over, my parents are emigrating in a few weeks so theyre gonna send her to sleep before they go. gutted as she still turns into the puppy at heart when she realises shes going for a walk or the toys come out. its gutting indeed.
