Just been out in my car (2ltr ZVH), now once it had warmed up, it was running fine (as usual), running upto 15psi, but after about 10mins, the car felt really slow, and is only boosting upto about 5psi? If i keep my foot down, it goes up to about 10psi but takes an absolute age to get there? What could it be? Ive got all samcos etc so dont think it will be a split hose?
Please help as im supposed to be running at santa pod at the weekend!!

It sound's like one of the following:
1) A blown hose or similar.
2) Leaking dump valve.
3) A dead Amal valve.
4) A dead turbo.
5) fault with wastegate

amal valve is ontop of the gearbox, circle thing with 3 hoses coming off of it, hoses goto airbox, turbo housing (or crossoverpipe, depending on how its set up) and wastegate actuator
also has 2 electrical connections on it.
unless ofcourse it has a bleed valve fitted betweena hose running from turbo to actuator... in which case ignore the amal valve coz its been bypassed and its not your problem

to roughly check your actuator, get a pair of pliers on the rod or the wastegate and try to push it towards the actuator. the spring inside should work against you and be quite hard to push. how hard is hard, and if it's hard enough to give you the required boost is hard to say. check to make sure that the bracket isn't cracked or flexing or anything.

Ive sorted now Gus i think, it wasnt the 2 nuts, it was the actual bracket that hold the actuator in place!!
Cheers for the offer though mate, i might ring you again if anything else goes wrong!!
