I priced my car to sell i could have hung out for more but im fair & dave was a proper decent bloke. I didnt want to be one of they sellers that has a car for sale for months & ppl say cant beleive you still have it ect , surprised its not gone by now all that bull.if you price a car right & be totally straight with the buyer it will sell.

price wise unless ultra low miles or concours the escort does seemed to have dipped recently, saphs had to turn, good ones are getting rarer now, and the tat have been broken for spares as they have got older, same really with the 3 door a few years ago, they get restored now generally.

dave, my 100E isn't gay it's just missunderstood lol

btw I love 3 doors and i'm one jackpot lottery win away from owning a moonstone rs500!!!

Col it depends on the car you pay for what you get really aint it?i certinly wouldnt sell my escos for 10-11kan escos will always hold good value prior to the condition its in and specfor a decent escos is 13.5k to 30k even seen one at 50kthe condition that whats its all down to on any cosworth reallyCarlo's went cheap imoa but as he said he had plans for his house etc etc thats why he sold it for a bargain pricethey will all hold value as they all are getting broke and getting rarerbut a moonstone RS500 is what iam thinking about nextif i sell my escosnot sure in 2 minds

that 500 has apparently not done 22K, as a good few years ago the said car had 78K on......?? Maybe thats why it was priced at what it was?

I think they are all over at the mo prices, but will soon change again, when the economy changes

would it not be fair to say that although there are esco's out there for 10k, they are tattier examples and so can't be compared to a saff in good condition commanding high end prices?

I would think there is a still a good gap between a saff and an escos if both are good examples??

Can't remember what they go for, but it's just a few registrered on plates to put it that way.

If I'm not mistaken there was one for sale earlier, 25k without registration. That means adding a good portion to the sum.(about 5k for a regular cosworth 204bhp)

http://bil.autodb.no/autodb/frame_se...6;_cmd=similar

Just divide by 10 to get punds..

Granted - however im led to believe (from my Norweigan mate) that the average wage over there is around double the UK's figure. Granted tax is higher but I don't think you can really compare car prices in the UK to Norways.

not really as its cost me 40k to build it and its done less than 3000 miles inc running it in

i was bored one day and broke it down on paper and more like 18k in bits,so it will never be advertised as a whole car

Yes that is a good point, don't know the wages in the UK so can't really compare on even ground

Yeah Craig, but its one thing bleating on about how much your Escos is worth and another thing getting someone to your door and handing the 20`s over.
Just a quick one did M600 BHP sell for the mega price tag it was advertised as? has that white one with 702 miles on sold for its mega price tag? The big ones never sell mate for the insane prices owners want,
I understand how it works Craig, we tot up all the invoices built up over the years plus the price of the car and it tops 40-50k,add that to the big reputation the cars got(M600 BHP) and then look and think well Im gonna need 25k back, yeah thats understandable cause its a hell of a lot of money to write of but im telling you they wont do 30k n all that bollox, and 50k craig get fuckin real mate.Sorry i know its a ford website but its honest and you know it

^^^^^^Mr Brannen i rest my case^^^^^

here is the car http://users.autoexposure.co.uk/vehi...4352192_1a.jpg

also the white one with 375 miles sold for over 30k on ebay no problem

aubergine low milage one sold for 25k no problem

imperails blue one with 3000 and odd miles 25k or it was a wee bit more no problem

red escos 21k no problem was worth more imoa http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/1143269.htm

red escos sold for over 20+k http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/1200345.htm

as for the ones at 20k etc etc do sell as my mate has just bought one not short of that so pick up your chin and have one of these

And i didnt say a price on mine i said "i certinly wouldnt sell my escos for 10-11k" so have another one of these

most off them get broke up because as Colin has stated above and many people will tell you they are worth more in bits on higher spec'd carsbut a mint condition will sell it may take time but it will sell you must feel like a right idiot now aye llf always one idiot like yourself that comes on and thinks he's jack the ladand thinks he knows everything when you CLEARY dont!!!

what i have noticed is 3 doors are rapidly increasing
