So whats the point of this post then? To share a pic? Cant be to increase Jano's profile as an engine builder as he aint a trader and it cant be to brag about figures cause no-one belives the bullshit without prove.

Only interested in spec think thought to make 170bhp on a zetec its either gona be high comp, much bigger than a 2.0 or perhaps the rollers where having a off day due to the weather
but then the other way to look at it is i wouldnt be happy to have 170bhp if i have a 16v engine fitted
I don't see the fuss about turbo engines making power at 'low boost'.
Just because it makes 170bhp at 5psi doesn't mean it will work well with high boost - infact to me it means it is better tailored to being a N/A engine to a turbo one
Big power turbo engines for road ful/cars don't make big power at low boost.. FACT.

Fords 16valvers were making 204bhp with 8 psi almost 20yrs ago.. so nowt staggering there
4years later they were doing 227... so why are we going down to 170 now?

From my recollection, even the old early knackered 2 litre Mondeo engines were making 136bhp, and the later ones making 150bhp.

i judge the quality of the guys work from the quality of his photo's. you'd get better pictures from david blunkett.
i mean, come on. at least if you're trying to market stuff over the internet, use a proper digicam and not a cheap shitty camera phone.
if you must use a camera phone, at least get a decent megapixel one.

I agree with Phil you cant have your cake and eat it, if you want big figures at low boost then you end up with too much compression to run big figures at high boost.
Making 170bhp @ 5psi makes it sound like it will be a good tractable road car.
