Default rs2000 mk 5 engine management

Can someone tell me what management a mk 5/6 RS2000 16v runs please? I am assuming its fords EEC IV, how mappeable is this or what ever management it runs and how much extra flow capacity is in the std injectors? is the management suitible for forced induction conversions? any info greatly appreciated

EEC IV.
Injectors are on their knees at a little over 200bhp.

cheers stu, is it mappable for forced induction, and can you change the injectors for larger flowing items?? one last thing, would an rs2k motor take a light pressure turbo (i.e 5-6psi or around that) without decompressing it?

No, the management is 1bar absolute and cannot be changed.

cos I had a blinding idea for a cheap conversion, just wondering if the management would be up to handling a bit of extra air

i think the problem you will have is putting a tiny turbo on the car.. you will do nothing more than restrict the engines flowing capability.. and hence prob loose power! along with that you would more than likely loose the driveability of the car..
this is of course refering to a 'cheap job' with a tiny old T3
if done properly then good results can be achieved.. as per kennys car!

yeah but thats expensive, and a T25 on a cossie lump seems to be fine I know it sounds pikey, but just wondering if a vaan-aitken style turbo conversion could be carried out on the rs2000, not for ultimate power but just to take it to approx 200 bhp and nice lot of torque without splitting the engine open
