Default vw tdi fault 00575 Intake manifold pressure sensor

anyone help?? what and were is this? i presume its not what looks like the charge temp sensor thats at top of engine along the big plastic instake hose from the cooler?

MAP SENSOR - dont know where it is though !

Should be a pipe off the intake manifold connected to a small box mounted off the
engine somewhere. (usually has 3 wires connected to it)

think im sorted the map is by ecu but theres a hose that runs fromt here to manifold thats prone to corrosion so fingers crossed

the tdi doesnt have map , its on mafs , where did you get that code and what car ??

if it is that sensor in the main plastic intake pipe (huge one) make sure you get the right one or take your old one with you .There are three different ones and theres a modified plastic intake pipe as well

Its commonly the intake pipe clogged with crap as opposed to teh sensor itself, so check it out. As said, thers an uprated one which is essentially just larger bore and less prone to clogging.
