ive just fitted a fiesat rs turbo into my cab but the cams abit noisey and ive got a near new escort rs turbo cam

are these cams the same and will it cause any problem fitting an escort cam into a fiesta engine???

 

Don't quote me on this but i think the efi cam is different to the mfi. But as i said don't take this as they are.

Have you looked at the cam and tappets to see if there is any wear?

 

Ford only list one part number for both, so yes they are the same profile although I have heard that the later EFI ones were made of better material, but who knows?!
