I'm trying to get a new laptop (well, used but you kno what I mean)
anyway, there's a couple I'm watching, and doing a bit of research on them, I noticed both the sellers registered on 12 Nov 2004. 1 seller has only 1 feedback (positive) and the other has 2 feedbacks (both positive). so I looked at the feedback of the buyers.
The guy with one feedback, all the feedback of his buyer is positive, but every item is a laptop. And every seller that guy bought from is fairly newly registered, and only has a handfull of feedbacks. What else is odd is the other one is very very similar.
Other odd thing is looking at these buyers feedbacks, the last bunch of laptops bought finished on Sun12 + Mon 13, yet they left feedback about great delivery and excellent item etc only the next day. Okay I understand you can get next day delivery for your £25, but how if it finished at 9pm on Sunday would you be able to leave feedback about delivery at 9pm the following day? Surely thats same day delivery and would cost a lot more...
It's a bit confusing to read but hopefully you follow me, just wondering whats going on as it is very odd, not sure if it is a scam

I thought that James, but what it actually lloks like is they are generating false auctions. None of the sellers leave feedback for the buyers, all the items the buyers have bought are numerous laptops, all with nearly identical "fingerprint" feedback....
Have a look for yourself, do a little diggin in the seller and buyers feedback, and then their sellers and buyers feedback and so on.....

Lee - doubt I will bid on it now as this seems way to strange to be legit/genuine
But what I can't understand is why? If this is a little set up with falsly generated sales - wheres the profit? If it's a small group of people with numerous accounts all fixing each others auctions, how is anyone making any money? They can't be without selling the gear to genuine punters then ripping em off..... so only thing I can think of, is it is some kind of laundering system
Sounds a bit far fetched I know, but it's the only thing that makes sense, cos you launder stolen money you need it to keep going round circulation, in and out of banks, real and online banks, till it becomes clean. Only way to do that is control who and where it goes....
The other similarity between all these laptop buyers and sellers, and their buyers and sellers and so on is they all only accept personal cheque or bankers draft/postal order - no escrow or paypal, or cash on collection
And none seem to have listed postage prices....
Seems all the auctions follow a very similar formular, as does the feedback...
Much oddness
