since my last posts ive now found my map sensor to be at fault . im running a efi ofab set up with a 195 power chip and beiges with a 2 bar map sensor . ive just orded a escort cosworth 2.5 bar is a case of just plugging it in or does it need mapping to my chip and ecu

Yes IIRC you will need the correct chip to run it, your current map will still 'think' it's a 2 bar sensor and your fuelling/timing will be wrong!
