i have found an s2 rst for sale round my way and its cheap for its conditiom but there is 1 problem. apparently the boost has a flat spot and can sometimes dissapear all together. its been on the dyno and no problems were found and its had new hoses all round so its not a split hose. i have been told that its not the ECU either.

is there anythink else it sould be. if its a cheap problem im gonna move from Wardyxr2 to WardyRST

honestly any help on this would be fantastic as i would love to get this. if there is any moreinfo you might need tell me and i'll find it out

 

Dodgy actuator?

 

maybe if its using the amal valve could be that, mine played up and caused the boost to be a bit flat in places, got a new one from ford £40 ish, and it was fine after that.

 

u could also check the bolts around the turbo especially the ones the actuator is on

could be actuator amal valve or make sure the hose from turbo to metering head is on right way round as mine was not and it was spiking as hose colasped.check all other boost hoses as they might be getting crushed under boost...
