Would you recomend it on a black car?

is it all its made up to be?

 

Find it really good mate,hides swirls marks and minor blemishes and gives the car that "wet" look.Here's a picture of mine from this weekend

 

That looks really good, How easy is it to use, ie put on and buff off, i take it you need to wax after?

 

Easy to apply and buff off in direct sunlight, i've been recommended to use collinte 915 after applying this.Just haven't got round to buying any!

 

Near enough the same as the autoglym high definition wax which i already have

I will, its out of stock though and i dont want to make two orders so i have to pay twice as much postage so i guess ill have to wait!

 

We have used it on our smokestone saff and a red cossy escort. looks the dogs, finished of with an expensive wax that I can remember what its called cos he bought it. lol

 

Black Hole is one of my fave products - fantastic glaze on all darker colours but especially on black

That looks like a machine jobby to me.

Looks smart as feck.
I tried it on my cos, by hand, was not impressed by it. The mongdeo got it too, its black ,same as the cos, better result on it still not great tho.
Hopefully a MOP would give better results,if i ever buy one.

The Black Hole was applied by hand on a Meguiar's yellow foam pad, but the car was machine polished by me previously using Menzerna polishes.

Black Hole is kind of 'dual use' depending on the application method - by hand with light pressure it's more like a traditional glaze and the cleaners in the product are largely ineffective (it's 100% non abrasive btw.) so it can be applied over layers of other products without removing them.

By machine it's cleaners, together with the action of the pad will perform some chemical correction to the surface.

As the car was already machine polished and finished to the highest level with Menz PO85RD Final Finish, I went with the hand method to get the best out of it as a pure glaze and to add a little depth and wetness prior to sealing in with the Zymol wax.

 

So whats the best way to apply it, I will be using the Meguiar's yellow foam pad, but i should really work it into the paint should I?

 

Work on an area of about 18 inch square, or half a panel at a time, put a few 'pea' sized drops or an 'X' of it on the Megs pad, dab the pad around the work area (this is so you have a fresh bit of product to pick up on the pad as you work around the area). Work in overlapping circular motions with only light pressure and you will see Black Hole kind of 'melt' into the surface after a minute or so. You can either wipe off straight away or do the whole car and then buff off (this is what I tend to do when working in the garage).

 

Awsome i will give this as go as soon as i can order some off cleanyourcar, they should have it in stock today they recon, I bloody hope so!
