Ive just brought a set for my 3dr and ive noticed a squeaking noise coming from the passenger rear side, it looks like the spring is hitting the inside of the arch, any ideas on how to cure this problem as its really annoying

Strut brace would defo be advisable, just a simple bar of metal with a hole in each end would do the job.
The reason why only one side is affected is because of the hideously bad build quality on the cosworths, with them not exactly being "square", and even on each side of the car, the tolerances were quoted in mm's but a mistake led to this being seen as metres!!.
A good bash will soon sort it.

well i did 70k miles without issue on mine,
seam welding the turrets is a good option, running a brace wont be a bad idea, but the cure for the rubbing issue is a hammer lol

sorry mate just thought you were supposed to run a rear brace because of the extra loading on the turrets...........get sally sledge out then........dont bother me my whole car is seam welded ..........
The turrets will be inclined to load sideways, ie tilt inwards under load, this is why a strut brace is a good idea.
I had another sierra on coily's and did 100,00+ in that towing a lot of time 4wd's etc never seen a problem, just run one for peace of mind now.

Hi,if these are gaz coilovers i think you can replace the lower bush with a rose jointed item with some off set top hats which moves the shock out a little bit !
dont know yet i have only fitted the strut brace . was going to fit them today but it is tipping it down. will let you know. plus a mate text me saying that the rear springs might be a pain in the aRSe to get out.

Plug in angle grinder, cut rear spring in two (right in the middle), remove to halfs of spring.
Saves alot of time and effort if you don't mind scrapping the old rear springs after
