Default Just bought a car, need to sort insurance next week...quotes?

Hi, Ive just bought a import 1992 Mitsubishi GTO, twin turbo. The car is fitted with an 'autowatch' alarm/imobiliser. Its completely standard except for a stainless exhaust. I will use it for commuting and general use, approx 3000 a year. Its current value is approx 2.5k.

Im 31 (dob 30/08/77), lived in uk all my life. Hold a clean licence, had for 14years. No convictions etc in last 5yrs. and I have approx 5yrs no claims, currently insured as a named driver on the missus's puma policy with direct line only. My post code is DE23 8QY and the car is stored in a garage on my property. I'd like to pay monthly. Dont want break down cover or any other add-ons. I'll take the highest excess going if it makes a decent sized difference in the quote. After fully comp or TPFT, which ever is cheaper (I know fully comp should be dearer but you do occasionaly get the odd quote where its cheaper than TPFT)

Can anyone quote me from that?

Cheers,
Stu.

I always use confused.com, put your details in ONCE and it will save them for whenever or so you can re-look at a later date, and in 1 minute it will come back having searched something like 100 different companys, and list cheapest to most expensive.

Definatly worth a shot to see if it returns anything cheaper than the other quotes you've been getting
