I sold this car recently and now have it back for sale .
The Shell is a works RHD Group A Chassis with boreham I.D and a bill of sale from M-sport in '92 !!
It was built up using GpN parts ,Bilstiens , Std brakes , axles ,hubs etc.. to go Sprinting /single venue rallying with , it did this until '95 when it was parked up and stored until 2008 , it was like a timewarp seeing it in the owners garage ,everything is in period including the RAC scrutineers stickers on the passengers door from the 1987 RAC event !
The shell was a bolt in cage early chassis that had Evo 2 into a Welded cage early on in its life , this may make it one of the Securicor sposnsored challenge cars , weve had Oakfields all over it and theyve checked and approved its early gpA Heritage .
recently a coat of paint was added by the owner in Sainz colours , 9x 17" Dynamics rims with slicks , perspex windows , all lines internally etc...
A rare car which will only improve with age !
£10,000 GBP 12,000 euros .

don't know if it's on it's original reg but if it was a securicor car then the reg will be similar to C240HVW infact I think they went lower into the 30's and up to the 50's but the last 3 letter are correct
might help iding it anyway!
**edit here is one of them

Thanks Steve , there isn't a reg plate sadly although the shell and Vin plate /chassis numbers are there so im sure it could be tracked down !
A lot of the C***HVW's wre press cars as well , i think we have C**40 HVW living down here, used to have a roof rack on it !
The story goes it was one of a number of shells on pallets at M-sport , the guy chose this one and paid Malcolm for it , he chucked in the rear dampers apparently too .

afaik all the securicor challenge cars were road cars not group a shells built up.they may have been reshelled into a proper group a motorsport shell eventually.
boreham built rally 3dr's for customers aswell as works drivers and sold everything to complete a 3dr rally car.
any decent team that had a proper rally car doing major championships with big sponsors maybe had 1 or 2 shells ready to be built up in the event of a bodyshell being damaged and when these cars were sold if the shells didn't go with the car as spares they got sold off with no id.
the sainz sierras are a more orangey shade than the red on the above car.
looks nice though
