Is there a common earth to the saph dash???

I had a look at the wiring diagram but i'm not eaxctly brilliant at this sort of thing, there's dotted lines accross the instrument panel piece i'm looking at, i think that represents a common earth???

A dotted line does represent an earth, will have a circle at each end as well, not the same on all despite what ford say though.

Ok cheers, i looked at the diagram and it has this dotted line for an earth like what you say, BUT it doesn't have a number or any other info to say which wire it is.

Does anyone have anymore info on this, i think it may be tied into the earths at the throttle cable mount (which I've alrready cleaned and checked BTW)
