Default Where can i get double sided stuff to stick on door strips????

Need to put the door strips back on the white 2WD i've bought, the new doors don't have these fitted, what have people used for this?
(I'm presuming you didn't use the regular double sided stuff from B&Q or blu tack...).

Look on the Bay for double sided trim tape, they do rolls of the stuff in various widths to suit whatever your doing.

I had some 5mm wide stuff for my 406 side chrome mouldings it was dirt cheap.

Cheers guys, i'll look into all those options and see what's best, the trim tape on Ebay sounds like most sensible option though, i'll have a look and see.

Rog,

You will get the stuff you need just over the road from you in Autosave.

Used it before on the doors of my brothers saff and it was perfect.

Cheap to

Just make sure everything is spotless before you stick it.

Not a chance, Ive seen how much they are!!

Getting it running on 4 is the main objective atm.
Loads of bit arrived this week.
Ricky Gauld is a fecking wanker, got new rubber on the Mongdeo and got Mr Gauld to fit some slightly harder and lower springs for me. Week or so after, one of the tyres seemed to have a slow punture or wasnt sealed right, anyway took the rim of to get it looked at (3 months later), imagine my shock when i notice that one of the springs is on the wrong fecking way. How is this shit possible, no wonder it was all over the road.

Will do, i already ordered the 6mm stuff from the link above, it was only £5.98 delivered for 20 metres so i think that'll be enough!
Regarding the 500 splitter, not sure how these are "normally" held on but i fitted a rouse copy to my saph and i just used self tapping screws and silicon sealant, but to coin a chop phrase, "it's only a saph".
Think i might just punt the whole car off cheap as it's becoming a hinderance in the garage and i should really be buying bits for the silver one instead, so might be for sale by the end of next week depending on how i get on.

Thanks Rog, its the boot lower spoiler am on about tho.
The stuff in the link maybe just the ticket.
You gotta stick with it. Have to agree, you should be spending on the silver one. Maybe just throw a cover over it till the passion returns.
My first cossie when I was 19 was the same as your silver one.Tho not in the same spec or condition as your wee jem looks. Weird how 270 ish hp felt so god dam quick way back then.

Cheers

Ah ok, sorry I immediately thought splitter, i wasn't thinking about the back of the car. I'm sure that alot of folk have secured their lower spoilers with tape, but better make sure it's on right, if it comes off and I'm behind you, it'll be going on ebay for a tidy sub.... I'm sure you could whack some silicon on there too just for added peace of mind.
