Hi,

My rents mondeos (2001 - 2.0) air con has started hissing then leaked green air con fluid all ova the road. The hissing has now stopped. Its got climate control if that makes any difference

Does this sound an expensive job to sort or would it jus be replacin a hose?

Any ideas

it may have a a small hole in the condenser or a pipe, depending on what it is its a simple job but if left to long it may damage the condenser dryer

 

The receiver dryer will be destroyed anyway now.
Everytime the system is open to atmosphere the receiver dryer will abosorb too much moisture and be saturated.
Obviously it has leaked, need to find the leak and go from there, if done soon will stop the compressor seals drying out and wrecking that when it starts.
