anyone else seen this on ebay xr3i se500 limited edition? isnt this a load o bull?? says limited interior no wunder fookn rank!!! there r a few scary things on ebay sumtym!!!

wasn't that the all blue cabbie, if so it has the wrong interior and roof cos i no a friends dad that has restored one and it has blue leathers and roof.

 

I think they came with rs turbo body kit as standard.

 

thats deffo a se500 cabrio trim, i know this as i also have a se500 cabrio trim, its grey with fucking stupid red and blue piping,,,,,, and the door cards are just grey cloth rather than the pattened velour

IIRC it should have leather recaros with the "recaro" badge embroidered on rather than a plastic badge, plus the roof should be a blue mohair roof rather than black vinyl.

 

no thats a 'tennis' cabrio and some of the later 3i cabs had recaro and an option

 

tennis had grey sided half leathers and the aqua blue and amythyst pink cabrios on the same year that where just called ltd edition had black sided half leather recaros, in 1990 ford got tight and started half leathering the xr3i seats and on the se500 full leathered them

se500 might have had a mohair roof but not sure on that

tennis cabrios deffo had a chavy white roof and grey half leathers as ive got one in my garage !!!

 

Out in the sticks, near where i used to live, in Troston, there's one of these, been sat outside a garage forecourt for years, at least 9, maybe more. Its missing a headlight, interiors a bit mouldy, but nice low mileage, and the old boy that owns it wont sell it.
