Default car insurance loosing no claims

just wandering if anyone knows if i could lose my no claims if i havent insured a car for a few years.
one of my m8's was taking to me about it the other day and said i would witch has really concerned me as i got 5+ no claims.cheers

2 years without your own policy will wipe the slate and you will have to start all over again

just insure a shitter or soemthign

yeah i might do that.
just looked at my old policy after you saying that as i thought it ran out in 07 but it did'nt it was 20/03/08 so i'v got a little time to sort somthing out.

I think it is up to the individual company, although 2 years may be a average.

i built my no claims up on a car that i'd scraped the year before

all they wanted then was an number plate and some money

not sure you could get away with that now though wihtout having to sorn the car you'd scraped

2 years is a general average,
Adrian Flux will go upto 3 years, they did for me a few year back.

I had the same issue as i insure the cossie classic you don't use the NCB so me and the missus have to alternate each year to keep the NCB going.
