Bump and rebound is the shock rather than the spring. Should be a big knob on your coilovers to adjust. Turn that all the way one way for full hard. Your car will kangaroo over the bumps. Then turn to full soft to notice the different and progressively move the dial until you have a setting you like.

char1ie....just the cheaper coilovers fella, mine only adjust height and stiffness.....as for spring rates.....think mine are 330 (ish) on the front and 180 on the back.....so the front is set on "full soft" (too hard) and i have to stiffen the back up to match the front a bit, other wise it wobbles like fook along the road......i need softer front springs......

I'd be tempted to run a little softer on the front of around 300lb", and around 200lb" for the rear, this is what I run.
I find it really comfy, on front normally only rebound adjusts with knob, rear adjusts bump as well as rebound.

Just out of interest Pete, why did you go to a coilover set-up? Do you do a lot of track days.....or was it the ability to corner weight your car that appealed? Or did you find a conventional spring/shock arrangement too soft?

.....none of the above..........had AVO adjustables on the car....one of the fronts broke/leaked so i got a set of gaz (£500) coilovers and was advised to get these spring rates.......should of had my AVO's fixed and maybe a better set of springs instead of C/D ones.....he-ho thats life
