How much Oil does a T5 Gearbox whole?

I would say about 2 to 3 litres.

2.6 litres, or it might be 2.5 litres on of the two

what is the favoured oil used in the T% box as i need to refresh the oil and not changed it before in the box

atf fluid, dexron 2 or 3

By ATF do you mean Automatic transmission fluid, as in the red stuff. Need to replace mine and not sure what with. Didnt think you could use ATF in the T5 box.

ATF is what was fitted new from Ford.

i use 75/90 fully synthetic in mine .. the box rattled after being used at high revs with the automatic water stuff but now loads better... recomended by bara and marco..
