Default hesitant rs turbo on boost

iya everyone, i have a problem my rs turbo is not holding boost, 3rd 4th 5th are just holding back alot on boost, 1st and 2cd sometimes boosts nicely only if i drive normal (30 mph) then floor it and it boosts, after that its flat like 3rd 4th and 5th, if i drive normal again 1st and 2cd will be the same as the rest of the gears flat as fcuk,

its like im only allowed to boost once a day in 1st and 2cd then its like the rest of the gears if i try it again

iv changed actuator, plugs, turbo has no play at all, checked compression,no airleaks, could it be a pipe collapsing??

any ideas people cheeRs

dont gat disheartened mate the rs is worth keeping! i would fistly check the voltage at the fuel pump should be an absolute minimum of 8 volts if this is ok i would get the ignition timing checked also check the distributor cap and leads as it sounds like it aint firing right it will be worth checking all vacuum pipes for splits and leaks including your boost guage as these are known to leak boost also!!. also i would consider which tuner i used to set it up as i would only use a tuner that was used to rs turbos as they can be tempermental at the best of times and are best looked after by someone who knows these cars inside and out

Did u change fuel pump as different btwn mfi and efi. That prob why losing power at higher revs. Also check your timing is spot on, plugs are gapped correctly, throttle position sensor clicks when you 1st press on the accelerator. Once these are all checked, check for air leaks on all the boost hoses and make sure you have no air leak anywhere else.
Then you can start checking faulty parts. - but im 99% sure its one of the above or a combination of all. Where did u get it tuned? Was it someone reputable?

will check voltage to pump
how is the best way to check this?

i fitted a cosworth fuel pump before i had it set up and timing/boost/plugs checked all fine,

i have a bad oil leak from the oil return wen im acelerating hard and getting the little boost i can get out of it........would this affect my boost/performance ?

can u see what its boosting at on a boost gauge? If its low boost then actuator or turbo could be foobarred.
