I have a Pectel T6 V8 ECU. I have been told that this is very rare with many features.
Due to circumstances beyond my control, I am being forced to go down a different route with my car.
Is anyone on here familiar with this ECU?
Finding information on the web about this is not easy so I have no idea how much this might be worth 2nd hand.
Is there anyone that might be able to offer some advice please?

Thought they could be swaped from 4 cyl 6 cyl 8 Cyl ?? is it not a setting in the software.

Is it T6 2000?

 

No. This ECU was made before Pectel changed hands to Pi. This will no doubt sound quite biased, but I have heard that the 2000 was not in the same league. The T6 V8 I have was mapped by Ahmed himself

 

the 2000 is the newer vesion of the t6, it has more features but the battery used is not as good IIRC making the t6 more preferable as not all features of the t6 are used let alone t6 2000

 

mine is a t6 v8 something or other,, i havent seen it for a while, so i cant explain any more PMSL

 

If you pm me the ecu serial no i will get it checked out for you and let you know what spec it is .T6 V8 were modified to run 8 Injectors and 8 coils plus other mods like twin lambda

my T6V8 can only run high impedance injectors! thats one downside!

Can you advise on the specs of the V8 version over and above the normal version?
As stated, this is Pectel built and not Pi and have been told this was much better than the 2000 version. Can you comment on this also please?

Ok.
I am now definitely selling this ECU.
The loom is made up for a 5 cylinder engine, therefore for easy to adapt for a 4 cylinder.
The loom cost Ł850 when it was originally made and just would like to emphasize, it is a Pectel made item (not Pi) as is the ECU.
I will post the serial number later along with a picture, but this will be sold together with loom and the connector plug.
I am asking Ł1650 o.n.o.

THe second picture was supposed to show serial number. As you can see, the picture has not come out too well, but you can see it is genuine Pectel and not Pi. I will post the Serial number ASAP

 

For those that this might mean something to, the serial number is 2198.
