Default spec-r breather question

evening folks, have a quick question regards my breather as follows

i have a spec-r one with catch tank,as i am rebuilding the bloody thing i have got breathers to either side of the block, now i did intend to also put one into the top of the cam cover but could i instead pipe a return to the sump under the oil level & still run one to the catch tank

oh by the way the seperator has 4 ports 1 on the left,2 on the right & 1 underneath (which i propose to run to the sump)

am i wasting my time thinking this

Some of the the touring cars did that to the sump. Mine breaths from the front of the sump - near the oil pump. Heres a pic from the build that shows it clearly.

ahhh bugger now i`m confused, admittedley the easiest way is gonna be to not return it to the sump & just vent the block with a catch tank
