For 100bhp jets, it would cost 50p a second to run all the time, are you sure you want it running all the time?

I think you misunderstood them, what they used was a throttle switch so it only ever put nitrous in at full throttle.

About 600-1000 is a good ballpark for the kit, and as per my comment about, 50p a second in use if its for 100bhp.

www.noswizard.com

Thats the only place I would buy a kit from (same people who did the 5th gear test funnily enough, and the top gear XJS that clarkson had)

No, it hits only when you press the throttle fully open generally, although you can have it rev limited too.

So at full throttle acclerating flat out at 4000rpm you would have nitrous injected, but at 5000rpm on a fast cruise down the motorway it wouldnt be injecting any.

There is no point injecting it anywhere other than at full throttle as anywhere less than full throttle you can have more power for free just by opening the throttle further anyway.

100bhp was just an example, its very easy to change the jets to alter how much power you get.

Any one have experince running this on a CVH turbo? Would be interesting to here about it!
I'm guessing the internals would need to be uprated to take the BHP just like if it were BHP made without NOS? So really only about 220-240bhp on stock internals. Also probably a gearbox killer too?!
Rab, let us know how you get on!

that would depend on what gearbox you are running.
