well i was out with my mate last nite playin in the cossi when a scooby wanted a wee race up the slip onto the M8. bout half way up the slip the oil light came on. i pulled over let the car sit, had a quick look over it and everythin seemed fine and sounded ok. 1mile down the road it sounded like a bag of spanners bein kicked down the stairs any ideas guys? got it towed home by the ex wife, that was a fun trip!!!lol

also some comments about swarf in new 2wd pumps from cosworth

well it got dragged away today, deffo bottom end damage but wont know what else till its stripped. back to my good old reliable jap crap!!

had the same mate-turbo will also but fucked,i had a brand new blower on and lost oil pressure with oil light on etc and it fucked the new turbo within a mile!

after maket decent oil pressure gauges are quite good as a precaution

the problem is with standard oil light on the dash is its only triggered when the pressure drops below 7pis, so it might as well say "your engine is fucked"

if it hasnt been built that long then something has gone wrong during the build, unless you have a dodgy pump IMO

no probs-spoke to pops already about sum mapping he said a couple of weeks on a sat morning so we will rip it up the road then,thinking about going more power..

you dont need more power ! jasons is same as yours isnt it ? other than diff inlet cam ? dosnt make a massive difference

it is quick, but its getting tired, probs running same power as you now push him up the road some time

yes same spec jus curious if any different,he running std in cam?
he said his has a 7200rpm limiter mines only 6.5k i think
thought about grays,higher limiter and chip?????
