Default anyone got any road legal slicks to sell or borrow ?

right, after having a proper,,, and i mean PROPER nightmare trying to sort out my spare wheels,,,,, non of em wanna fit without either rubbing on the coilovers or rubbing on the wheel arch,,, so now i need to source 4 17ins road legal slicks for before tuesday to get my car ready for the ring,,,,,, anyone here wanna help a brother out pmsl

OBV i could buy a set of tyres,,,, but im not planning on sticking with 17ins rims for much longer so spending 600 quid on tyres dont seem a great plan at the moment

I have a set of Dunlop D02g's that I used in the Ford Saloon Car Championship in 2007 that might do the job, I'm not sure if they are road legal tho??

They are 225 x 45 x 17 and having just had a quick look, two are nearly on the tread bars so there's not much life left in them. I had to use 225's to clear the arch's on my 3dr so they might fit.

I'm in Royston, Herts so if there any good, send me a PM

Regards
Jeff

adjust your driving style so it's more like mine and run it on road tyres

job done, zero tyre wear

Don't think too many people are gonna let you 'borrow' a set of expensive tyres for a ring trip lol....can't imagine they'll come back road legal Have you got any tyres that don't rub or just wanna use 888's or similar?
