is anyone else haveing probs with the rear coilover springs fouling the body?? any mod tips of getting round this would be great, but i dont really want to use a big hammer, any help please
There seems to be quite a few having this problem lately, i brought mine about 4 years ago and mine have been fine, think they may have changed them since then, then again, mine was running adjustable rear arms so whether this had anything to do with it, i dont know!

Right, here you are mate, haven't had the inside of the car painted yet so looks a bit rough but you get the idea, no clearance issues now and should be plenty strong enough

how thick is the steel you used?? and is it just bolted at the top with no rubber bushes? which coilovers do you use? cheers
Bolted the same way as you do with the original shocks using the rubber bushes (well vibratechnics ones), Gaz golds i'm running. I didn't weld the struts in personally so can't comment on exactly what meal was used, looks fairly substantial though, certainly thicker than the original.
Yeah dan lopped the top off them for me and redid the bars a neater way while he was at it! Typical, if i'd known he'd have done them in the first place! Good lad is Dan
