Default Sapphire relays in car, what are these for??? (PICS)

Ok I'm in fault finding mode and found a few things i'd like to query!
The relays in the first pic (grey and black) don't make "clicking" sound when you turn the ignition on, so that's my first problem.
Also, there seems to be one missing in the second pic, it's a lilac/purple colour.

In this pic you can see all the other relays, but at the back wrapped in black tape is a connector for a relay that isn't there...

The purple one at front of shot, and the green one behind are for the ABS - check the fuses attached to them haven't melted.

I also have the spare empty purple one - I've posted a similar thread. If you find the fuel pump relay, let me know

Cheers, i thought that had somethinng to do with the ABS as when the system is pressured up when you leave the ignition on, it doesn't click, but when the pump kicks in it activates the relay. I too need to find out which one the fuel pump relay is, also i think it was your post or maybe someone else'd when i was searching last night, the spare relay socket i have is for air con apparently. From what I can suss out so far all four relays pictured work, BUT the black and grey ones don't, I've just bought the car and the fuel pump is wired to the rear lights... Hence why i need to sort it, and there's obviously been another problem before someone has done this.

Forgot to add, I think Tabetha said the fuel pump relay was the other yellow one with a black/red wire coming out, I have indeed got a relay and a wire like that, have you checked this is the one you're looking for????

If for heated front screen it will have a serious big wire going to it.
The purple one taped up is indeed air con, if you note down the relay wire colours then look at the wiring diagram around the fusebox you will see what does what.
The ford handbook lists relays for ABS(20 amp fuse, green), pump(abs) with 30amp fuse(violet), Fuel Pump on fi, if not this one is used for ecu on carb versions(yes they are rare).
