you hear a lot of discussion about cossie head thickness but what about cvh`s?

The cylinder head om my ZVH I built 3 years ago using a Focus RS bottom end had 3.8mm skimmed off it. To get the CR back up. The car went on to 166.6mph at Daddy thrash.

what thickness is that? i have 2 heads here one is fairly thinner that the other but the thicker one has bent valve

Minimum chamber depth after skimming should be 19.60mm

ferriday engineering can in some circumstances re machine the combustion chambers slightly deeper into the head to make up for lost thickness of the head wouldnt have thought you could go too far tho
