Removing rear springs

Removing rear springs
Hi all can anyone tell me if when you remove rear shock will the rear arm drop enough to remove the spring.If not how do you remove them & any tips on fitting coilovers

paul pretty sure you have to unbolt the driveshaft mate to get the old spring out 
then the coilovers are easy as they just bolt on i nthe dampers position....
