I am going over, will be my 6th time in total. We (Fiesta Club of GB) have 10 cars already booked up.

I'll be heading to this one. Is it a day trip or is it best to stay at a hotel after the show and get the ferry back to the morning?

 

We do a hotel sat night and sunday ,then off to the ring on monday morning, hotel at the ring monday night, then travel back tuesday

Whats it like getting a hotel over there around the time of the show? I hear you've been doing this for many years now and know how it all works.

well we left our booking a little late last year and had to camp on the Sat night!!!!!

How much does it cost? ie petrol Hotel spending money etc...??

 

Will be there, just as the last 15 years or so (I have to admit it's only a one hour drive from my place

 

The trip is approx:-

200 miles from the tunnel to Heerlen
186 miles from Dunkirk to Heerlen
90 miles from Heerlen to Nurburgring
5 miles from Heerlen to show ground.

Hotels vary in price, the Valk Heerlen is about €100 per night, sharing makes sense to save costs.

The tunnel price changes all the time, we got the Norfolk Ferry from Dover to Dunkirk for Ł31.

Cost depends how long you want to go for and what you want to do.

Missed out last year for obvious reasons But went in 2007, also met Twins for the first time. Long way to meet someone from the same country!

Hopefully be going as well, along out big Euro Trip to Stelvio Pass!
