Clutch's
After my poor luck with an actuator causing a delayed tune up it has got me thinking about the clutch as i dont want to wait another month+ and then have the clutch give out on me.
I have been told to many things by different people when it comes to what clutches can handle so i woundered if anyone had an opinions from experience etc..
I am hoping to be around 170-180bhp.
Would a std clutch be up for the job?? if not what do you guys recommend?
cheers

I would go for the AP Organic, especially if you use the car in traffic much

cp 2000-8

I had a LUK clutch back in the day, cost around £115 from memory and never had a problem even at 215BHP.

The LUK one wasnt a std clutch, it was a heavy duty version (only an uprated cover) but worked perfectly

I wouldn't got for the paddle unless you REALLY need it. As for the organic actually AP offer a 3rd option - CP2000-35:

I bought this clutch but still waiting for it to be delivered, so can't comment on it yet. But for the power I'm running and my needs that's what 3 different companies recommended to me. Got the modified MK5 alloy quadrant from Aidee at
www.extremesportsproducts.com and the MK5 pedal from Burton
