What was your reason for taking it off?

what does it look like, any signs of discolouration anywhere?

They are pretty cheap these days, drop Martin Hadland a PM about the price of a new one.

Ah I see.

Well until you see the condition of the gasket when you pull it apart, you wont know if it can be re-used or not, so after so many miles I would budget for a new one.

I agree mate I wouldnt re-use a headgasket on any car i think it would just cause you more work in the end.

There about £150 for a new one. For the sake of it, It would be best to fork out. It would cost you more to pull the head off again.
