No Spark!!

Default No Spark!!

Ive just done an mk5 erst conversion, theres no spark!, Theres a green cable from loom that goes to - on coil, that is constantly live when ignition is on, the + is an ignition live too, any ideas whats wrong here or what should be live or earth? cheers. pete

the green one should be a pulsed 12v feed when cranking if i remember correctly

Hmm, the green is constantly lice when ignition on and so is the + one, i have 2 lives!!!!!!!

No pulsing from the green one either, as soon as the ignition is one they are both live...

run a wire from + on battery to + on coil and it should give a spark then, if not, summit else is wrong. coil/dizzy

The + (Black) cable that goes to the coil is live as ive tested it but the green one is live too!!!
